Marcus Gronholm | Marcus Gronholm Marcus 'Bosse' Grönholm born in Kaunianen, Finland on February 5th. Marcus Gronholm was World Rally champion in 2000 and 2002 while driving for Peugeot. When Peugeot withdrew from the World Rally Championship, Marcus Grönholm moved to the Ford rally team for the 2006 rally season and placed second in the drivers' world championship, losing the title to Sebastien Loeb by only one point. The next year he again placed second, four points behind Loeb. After the 2007 season Marus Gronholm along with his co-driver Timo Rautianinen retired from rallying. But he has rejoined the rally championship in 2009 driving for Subaru. Marcus Gronholm's record stood at 2 world championships and thirty rally wins. |
