Personnel from the Joint Helicopter Support Unit controlling a 105mm Light Gun lift, with Boeing HC2 Chinook helicopters of the Royal Air Force, as part of the Implementation Force in the former Republic of Yugoslavia. DHM1064. The Kacanick Defile by David Rowlands. Operation AGRICOLA. On 12th June 1999, 5 Airborne Brigade spearheaded the KFOR advance into Kosovo by securing the Kacanik Defile ahead of the ground forces. The Brigades joint airmobile operation with the UK support helicopter force followed a rapid strategic insertion to theatre. Signed special edition. Image size 24 inches x 15 inches (61cm x 38cm)
